comes the reply from Tower Controller.
Now your flight is about to takeoff. Pilot gets busy with his pre-takeoff checks, and the controller issues takeoff clearance for the aircraft awaiting departure before your flight.
When aircraft that was number one for departure has taken off, the controller issues landing clearance to the flight which is number one in arrival sequence for the airport, and that is when tower Controller will call your flight again.
"Netair Zero Zero One - Tower - Confirm you have British Airways Boeing Seven Four Seven on final in sight"
- queries Tower Controller.
"Affirm we have the Jumbo in sight" - replies your Captain.
"Netair Zero Zero One - Tower - Behind Landing British Airways Boeing Seven Four Seven on final - line up behind and wait" - clearance Comes from Tower
"Roger - Behind Landing British Airways Jumbo to line up behind and wait" - replies your Captain.
"Netair Zero Zero One - Tower" - "Pinta One Departure, Squawk Three Four One Three" - Tower issues departure instructions and the Secondary Radar Code to your flight.
"Roger - Squawk Three Four One Three, Departure Pinta One" - replies your Captain.
"Netair Zero Zero One - Tower" - "Cleared for Takeoff" - Tower Clears your flight for takeoff.
"Cleared for Takeoff - Netair Zero Zero One" - replies your Captain, and there you feel the rumble under your seat.
Your flight leaves Runway and takes a left turn, Tower Calls Out;
"Netair Zero Zero One - Tower" - "Airborne on the Hour, Contact Radar One Two Seven Decimal Niner" - Tower hands over your flight to the Radar Controller.
"Roger - now contact One Two Seven Decimal Niner" - replies your Captain.
And you are ready to cruise at 33000 feet.
